We are currently seeking a SAP ABAP to join our team in CDMX, Ciudad de México (MX-CMX), Mexico (MX).

Ecolab - SAP ABAP   -  

This skillset expected to be covered by consultants. A single consultant may not need to cover all listed skillsets.

• Senior level expertise with ABAP/4 objects including Data dictionary and ABAP workbench.

• Strong skills in troubleshooting tasks (transactions TR R3AS, SMQ1,2,R,S R3AC1,3, R3AM1, R2AR1,2,3,4, SMW01, SMW02, WE02, WE20). Idoc and Bdoc processing, data load support (overload prevention), MW support for system refreshes tasks (SAP Landscape maintenance), alerting and problem resolution.

• Development experience in SAP ABAP/UI5 with expertise in handling objects for SD, MM, PP, SCM, PLM, EHS, FI, CO, SAP Vistex; WM, and HR modules, LE.
  • Also, experience in SAP ABAP Programming for XI, Service Oriented Architecture, Web Services, Object-Oriented Programming, IPC JAVA, Web Dynpro, ALE, EDI, CRM Middleware and Rest API and older technologies like BSP.

• Good experience on the SAP Enhancement Framework like User Exits/ Customer Exits/ Field Exits/ Menu Exits/ Screen Exits/ Enhancement Spots/ BTE’s/ BADI’s for the different SAP applications

• Experience in SQL Trace Analysis (ST05, ST12), Run Time Analysis tools, Code Inspector, Performance Trace, Security Trace, RFC Trace, Single Record Statistics, Performance Tuning, Code Review and Quality Assurance.

• Good experience with Module Pool/Dialog Programming, Function Groups, Subroutine pools, ABAP Query and Report Writer / Report Painter.

• Expertise in using the different application-specific BAPI’s, creation of custom RFC’s for Web Services.

• Expertise in SAP Fiori (backend, frontend), OData protocol.

• Expertise forms development (Sap Script, Smartforms, Adobe forms).

• Good knowledge of HANA modeling using SQL scripting, Attribute/Analytic/Calculation Views, (Hana Privileges), Design & Creation of HANA statements (Core Data Services - CDS).

• A clear understanding of implementation cycles, as blueprinting, specification preparation (Frice creation and maintenance), core technical development, testing, hyper care, and support.

• A clear understanding about test strategies and set up – (string test, integration test, negative test, impact of different regions, regression test), experienced in handling of test tools like DEVOPS - Agile, ALM or similar tools.

• A good technical understanding about the SAP landscapes (also N+1 landscapes) in large enterprises.

• Acceptance of the Ecolab Coding Standards – this includes the needs to protect new programs and code in general following the SAP security guideline (part of coding standards).

• Analysis tools: ABAP debugger, Runtime analysis, SQL Trace, Code Inspector, SPAU, SPDD.
• Reporting Tools: Classical & Interactive Reporting, ALV Grid, SAP Scripts, ABAP Query, Smart Forms.
• GUI: SAPGUI, Web Dynpro, ITS Mobile, SAP UI5, SAP FIORI.
• Programming Platforms: SAP ABAP/4, SAP ABAP workbench, SAPUI5, Fiori Launchpad, SAP HCP, Eclipse IDE, SAP HANA, SAP Web IDE.
• SAP CRM: CCS, IC Web Client, campaign management, TPM, (older) Service Interaction Center.

• Operating Systems: Windows, UNIX, Linux, MAC OS.
• Languages: ABAP, JAVA (J2SE& J2EE), .Net, HTML, CSS and XML., JS, Json, (older C, C++, SQL, PL/SQL)
• Database: SAP Hana, Oracle (9i, 10g, 11g, …), (DB2, SQL Server, MS-Access 2003)
• Servers: AIX, Linux, Windows Server 2012 …, Exchange Server 2003 …
• Web Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular JS, JSON, XML.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• In-depth knowledge of ABAP programming language, including Open SQL, Native SQL, data structures, control flow statements, and object-oriented concepts.
• Solid understanding of SAP ABAP development tools and technologies (ABAP Editor, debugger, code inspector, transport system).
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager (optional, but a plus).
• Experience with SAP HANA development (optional, but a plus).
• Experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
