We are currently seeking a Software Development Senior- AWS Glue to join our team in CDMX, Ciudad de México (MX-CMX), Mexico (MX).

Job Description 
This position services as an expert technical and industry resource to management, clients and development staff in new uses of information technology in all phases of major system and subsystem development. Provides consultation on internal and industry IT technical and business domain process capabilities including leadership in the identification and recommendation of new IT opportunities and business operations as it relates to application development. Formulates, contributes to, and directs task identification, work effort estimates, and work schedules for research, prototype, and proof-of-concept IT activities. Directs and participates in all aspects of development tasks including data management, application architecture and business architecture. 

Cloud-Native Solution Development:
Design, develop, and deploy robust solutions on AWS using services such as Glue, Lambda and API Gateway

Build and maintain serverless applications using Python and Node.js.

Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-effective.

Performs load and performance testing on the applications and have advanced troubleshooting ability to tune the application to scale.

Database & SQL Expertise

Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data processing and analytics.

Work with relational (SQL Server, MySQL) databases.

Integration Engineering:

Develop and manage integration workflows between cloud and on-premise systems.

Implement RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures to support real-time data exchange.

Use messaging and streaming platforms (e.g., SNS and SQS) for asynchronous integrations.

DevOps & Automation:

Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools (e.g., CodePipeline and CloudFormation).

Monitor and troubleshoot systems using AWS CloudWatch and other observability tools.

Collaboration

Collaborate with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical design reviews and best practices.

Responsibility:

Minimum 5+ years related experience in designing, building and deploying software in above mentioned technology areas.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
