M365 Power Platform Developer – (Development & Maintenance)

Role Overview

The M365 Power Platform Developer is responsible for the development, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of applications, workflows, automations, and reports built on Microsoft Power Platform. The role ensures reliable operations, continuous improvements, and seamless integration across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem through Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell automation to support enterprise‑level operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Development

  • Design and build Canvas Apps, Model‑Driven Apps, and Power Pages.
  • Develop automated workflows using Power Automate (cloud flows, desktop flows, RPA).
  • Create Power BI dashboards including data models, measures (DAX), and visualizations.
  • Create and manage Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, plug-ins (if needed).
  • Integrate solutions with SharePoint, Teams, Azure, SQL, REST APIs, and on‑premises systems.
  • Implement ALM processes including solution packaging, deployment, and version control (Azure DevOps).

2. Maintenance & Support

  • Perform ongoing maintenance of existing Power Apps, flows, reports, and automation.
  • Troubleshoot issues, fix defects, and optimize performance for existing solutions.
  • Monitor flow failures, app errors, data refresh issues, and platform capacity.
  • Handle change requests, enhancements, and minor updates based on user needs.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and environment governance are maintained.
  • Provide UAT support and assist in production deployment activities.
  • Work with users to resolve functional issues and conduct periodic health checks.

Required Skills

  • 2–6+ years of hands‑on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Power FX, JSON, REST APIs, OData.
    • Microsoft Graph API for integration and data operations.
    • PowerShell scripting for automation and M365 administration
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 services—SharePoint, Teams, Azure AD.
  • Strong understanding of integration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with ALM and CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
