NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Instructional Designer to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).




  • Perform work in all phases of the ISD process 
  • Use active listening skills
  • Build professional, collaborative relationships with customers, SME’s, and project team members
  • Write clearly, concisely, and persuasivel
  • Show accountability for tasks, schedules and resources
  • Justify, defend, or seek approval for project decisions with peers or management
  • Reliably represent the office and team by delivering presentations or leading meetings
  • Design learning assessments to gauge achievement of objectives
  • Design engaging, motivating and learner-centered instructional strategies
  • Design accessible and equitable instruction for people with disabilities
  • Document instructional design plans and courses of action
  • Develop instructional materials and course documentation
  • Adapt designs based on available resources, instructor skill sets, and customer deadlines
  • Develop complete project schedules: scope outlines, calculate level-of-effort estimates, or similar production products
  • Assess the likely consequences, outcomes, implications, or risks of design options
  • Work on multiple projects at once
  • Coordinate project tasks and communications across functional teams
  • Manage customer expectations
  • Align projects to established workflows and standards of quality
  • Adapt schedule, scope or design in consultation with management and customer/client
  • Use evaluation data as a guide for revising/updating products and programs
  • Elicit and validate performance gaps or learning needs
  • Identify possible causes of performance gaps or learning needs
  • Select appropriate learning technologies and integrate them effectively into learning experiences
  • Determine characteristics of the target population or the workplace that will influence learning transfer
  • Conceptualize and plan needs assessment techniques


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience
  • Masters degree
  • TS/SCI w/ FS Poly
