We are currently seeking a Digital Project Manager to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).

Project Deliverables:

The Consulting Digital Project Manager is responsible for managing the technical and business leaders through all phases of a complex project related to a large bank merger of equals.

 

Role Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

*Leads technology and business implementation for assigned workstream related to a large bank merger of equals.  

*Responsible for resource allocation and planning, project financial tracking, release management, and issue resolution.

*Provide oversight for technology deliverables across multiple projects (detail tasks schedules, implementation plans, control room plans) through implementation and warranty period.

*Creates, manages, and understands impacts to project scope, constraints, and schedule. Manages projects according to the work plan. Performs critical path analysis.
*Develops and routinely reassesses project budgets to account for variances and ensures accuracy. Creates budget reports to compare actual with forecasted costs.
*Creates performance and status reports for relevant stakeholders.
*Develops and manages project risk and issue management plans. Analyzes risks by probability and severity to assess their impact on project delivery. Implement procedures to mitigate risk threats.

*Utilizes available tools for identifying and tracking issues such as the Delivery Risk Assessment, risk workshops, and clarity.
*Develops project organization chart and governance structures. Defines the roles and responsibilities of team members.
*Defines processes and standards around governance, communication, and quality.

*Develops deliverable acceptance plans and criteria.
*Identifies and develops a strategy for changes in scope, schedule, and cost. Develops a strategic rationale for change including costs, benefits, tradeoffs, etc.
*Creates transition plan, identifies lessons learned and applies the lessons learned to future projects.
*Identifies and manages project and program interdependencies.
*Establish program objectives; develop requirements, plan schedules, and estimate cost.
*Balance stakeholder needs and effectively negotiate tradeoffs between scope, schedule, and budget. 


Basic Qualifications:

*Bachelor’s degree in a technology or related field is required

*5+ years of Financial Services Industry experience in a project management function

*5+ years of experience as a technical project manager leading technical and business project teams through conversions 

*3+ years of Agile experience 

*3+ years of Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Sharepoint, and Visio

*Ability to travel according to client demands up to 50%

 

Preferences:

*Big 4 and/or boutique consulting firm experience

*Consulting experience with a Banking client

*Bank merger & acquisition experience

*100% travel tolerance

*PMP certification
