We are currently seeking a Financial Services Risk and Compliance Consulting Senior Manager to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), or NYC, United States (US).

NTT DATA’s Financial Services Consulting Practice partners with our clients on their transformation journeys from strategy and delivery to achieving business outcomes, helping them to respond to digital proliferation by focusing on customer-oriented services, just-in-time services, and modularized product offerings.   

 

The Risk & Compliance Consulting team includes management consultants who help our Financial Services clients effectively navigate today’s risk management and compliance requirements to protect institutional assets against threats and risks to business profitability. Our practice specialties include operational risk management, internal and external compliance, Financial Crimes prevention, Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) capabilities, and digital fraud solutions. 

 

As a Risk and Compliance Consulting Senior Manager, you will work collaboratively as part of a client-facing team to deliver value to our clients and help them achieve their digital, data, and transformational goals.  Our client base and expertise span strategic financial services institutions including top 10 U.S. banks, global payment providers, and top wealth management firms.

 

Key Responsibilities: 
-  Manage large scale projects with complex business or technical issues
-  Contribute as a technical expert or advisor for one or more solution 
-  Participate on (and may lead) projects where analysis of programs, systems, or data requires an in-depth evaluation of complex business process, system process, and industry standards
-  Regularly mentor and review the work of less experienced employee.
-  Execute schedules, costs, and documentation to ensure assigned projects come to successful conclusion 
-  Initiate corrective action to stay on project schedules
-  Prepare project proposals and cost estimates, and participate in sales and proposal presentations
-  Assist with project initiation, project risk assessment, project team startup, project execution, and post-project review 
-  Participate and often lead process improvement task forces 
-  Contribute to the development of leading-edge consulting solutions 
-  Develop and maintain effective relationships with executives in targeted companies

 

Basic Qualification Requirements:
-  Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
-  7+ years of experience in Risk and/or Compliance supporting the Financial Services industry
-  Experience in one or more of the areas below:
    -       Capital Market Regulations, including FINRA, SEC, DTCC, etc.
    -       Financial Crimes, including AML Risk Assessment, KYC (CDD+EDD), transaction monitoring and sanctions screening
    -       Fraud Management, including synthetic and digital fraud
    -       Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Business and Technology, including direct experience with GRC technologies and Risk platforms to support broader enterprise needs
    -       First and second line of defense controls management, including direct experience with risk identification, taxonomies, controls analysis, controls implementation/automation
    -       Data privacy, including GDPR and CCPA standards, with experience in advising clients as it relates to usage and applicability of data standards

 

Preferred Skills and Experience:
-  Graduate degree
-  Management Consulting firm experience that required daily customer engagement and delivery excellence to complete client projects
-  Experience in client facing business development, building industry relationships, and developing talent

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $180,000-$225,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.  This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
