We are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).

Position Summary
We are seeking a Technology Project Manager with experience leading technology initiatives within complex business and technology environments. The ideal candidate will have experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications while ensuring successful project delivery. This role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to partner effectively with business leaders, technology teams, and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
•    Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of technology projects and initiatives.
•    Partner with business stakeholders, technology leaders, architects, and subject matter experts to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
•    Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, status reports, and resource forecasts.
•    Establish and manage project governance, reporting, and communication processes.
•    Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and obstacles.
•    Facilitate project meetings, steering committee updates, and stakeholder communications.
•    Track project progress against milestones and ensure timely escalation of issues impacting delivery.
•    Coordinate project resources across cross-functional teams to support successful execution.
•    Support change management, communications, quality assurance, and project acceptance activities.
•    Ensure compliance with established project management methodologies, SDLC processes, and organizational standards.
•    Manage project financials, including budget tracking, forecasting, and variance reporting.
•    Prepare and present project status updates, key metrics, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
•    Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery practices.

Required Qualifications
•    Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
•    3+ years of experience managing technology projects in a corporate, consulting, or client-facing environment.
•    3+ years of experience creating and managing project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications.
•    3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams through project execution and delivery.
•    Experience utilizing Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
•    Experience facilitating meetings and presenting project status updates to business and technology stakeholders.
•    Demonstrated ability to identify, manage, and escalate project risks and issues.
•    Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
•    Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
•    Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
•    Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
•    Must be able to work onsite at the client location 3 days per week in Charlotte, NC, New York City, NY, or Northern New Jersey.

Preferred Qualifications
•    Experience managing or coordinating projects involving Starburst (Trino), enterprise data platforms, data integration, data warehousing, or analytics initiatives.
•    Prior technology consulting or business consulting experience.
•    Experience managing projects within banking, financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries.
•    Experience leading large-scale application, infrastructure, cloud, or digital transformation initiatives.
•    Experience working within matrixed or multi-vendor environments.
•    Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and technology delivery practices.
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Project.
•    Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or similar certification.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role if in Charlotte, NC  $105,000-4130,000 and if in New York City, NY it is$125,000-$156,000 and if in New Jersey then 1$114,000-$143,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
