We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu (IN-TN), India (IN).

Once You Are Here, You Will: 

• Develop and execute test automation frameworks and test automation suites.
• Evaluate and maintain existing manual and automated test cases & procedures.
• Perform load and stress tests using enterprise level test automation tools.
• Interpret test results and prepare comprehensive test reports.
• Participate in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture and detailed design documents.
• Act as key point of contact for other test engineers with automation needs.
• Manage and maintain physical, virtualized and simulated test environments.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise when integrating the application software with other software components.
• Assist in reviewing and determining amount of code coverage of unit tests.

Basic Qualifications:

• 6 + years of experience using Selenium / Java or C# .net / Rest Assured test automation tools
  • Knowledge in Ready API Pro and Ready API Performance with Groovy Scripting
  • Understand SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) practices, API calls, JSON objects, Google PubSub, and microservice architecture using GKE
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for applications and services hosted on Google Cloud Platform.
• Analyze and understand business processes, identify automation needs, and provide automation solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to validate API functionality, data integrity, and integration points within GCP environments.
• Perform end-to-end testing, integration testing, performance testing, and security testing to validate the functionality and scalability of GCP-based solutions.
• Identify and investigate root cause for issues using test APIs and Google Cloud logging in lower environments.
• Report bugs, issues, and potential improvements, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with product owners.
• Automate API testing processes to ensure continuous testing and integration.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using tools like Selenium or other relevant automation frameworks

Preferred Skills:

• Utilize Ready API Pro (SoapUI Pro) to create, maintain, and execute API functional test suites.
• Create, utilize, and maintain test/data files using a Git repository
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines within Microsoft Azure DevOps to enable automated testing and reporting.
• Install, modify, handle, and monitor CI/CD pipeline tools
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers, to ensure alignment on quality objectives and testing requirements.
• Knowledge in performance testing
• Conduct performance testing to evaluate system scalability, response times, and resource utilization on GCP.
• Analyze and optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks and making recommendations for improvement.
• Conduct thorough queue testing to evaluate the scalability, message processing speed, and reliability of the messaging systems.
