We are currently seeking a ERP Senior Specialist to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu (IN-TN), India (IN).

What awaits you/ Job Profile

 

As a senior SAP Functional consultant you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP-based solutions for our customers. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including customer representatives, to ensure the successful delivery of SAP projects.

What should you bring along

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrable experience in IT in preparing functional and technical specifications, as well as decision papers for technical recommendations
  • Excellent technical understanding of monitoring and logging techniques and tooling to proactively assess application performance, faults, and capacity planning across all areas.
  • Proficiency in change management, problem management, incident management, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, infrastructure, and integration concepts.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability in the DevOps and Agile toolchains with coding capability.
  • Ability to self-lead and work in a dynamic agile team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customer representatives at all levels
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging technologies in your field.
  • Demonstrated skills in mentoring and knowledge transfer to less experienced colleagues

Must have technical skill

Extensive experience in the following:

  • S/4 HANA
  • SAP Modules, Warehouse Management (EWM),Manufacturing (PP),Procurement (MM),Supply Chain Management (SCM)
  • Scripting languages.
  • Transport layers such as KAFKA, MQ and RESTful API.
  • Collaboration toolkits (e.g. Jira and Confluence) in an agile environment.
  • Security (SSL, OAM authentication and PKI).
  • Testing Tools like Xray, Selenium and Jmeter.
  • Source Control (Preferably Github or BitBucket).

Good to have Technical skills

  • Facilitate fit to standard and detailed design workshops within your functional area; gathering business requirements, converting them to meaningful Functional requirements and mapping out business processes.
  • Design and support, by the use of automation, End-to End testing, through to implementation and production support for existing and new solutions.
  • Provide input on solution design from all aspects including usability, capacity, security and monitoring.
  • Provide technical expertise to delivery teams to ensure that the business requirements are successfully implemented.
  • Managing communications constructively and confidently, fostering trust and respect; negotiation and influencing skills used to obtain positive outcomes from every relationship.
  • Utilize agile methodologies to design, configure, and implement SAP-based solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer representatives, team leads, project managers, process owners, and subject matter experts
  • Operations and optimisation of existing processes and practices along with harmonisation where applicable with all relevant Standard.
  • Collaborating with the Business Operations Lead and Design Operations Lead to ensure operational security, maintenance, and governance.
  • Handle issue resolution and ticket management
  • On call support as and when required by the team or Provide hypercare support during the post-go-live phase.
