We are currently seeking a FIS Systematics Senior Developer to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu (IN-TN), India (IN).

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas
2. Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users
3. Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business processes, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement
4. Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality
5. Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
6. Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
7. Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts
8. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

1. 5-8 years of experience (Senior Level)
2. 8+ years of experience (Expert Level)
3. Experience in systems analysis and programming software applications
4. Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
5. Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
6. Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Core banking Experience and Responsibilities

1. Business and technical knowledge of the following systems: FIS (Systematics) banking applications: Customer Management (RM), Checking-Savings (IMPACS), Advance Loan Solution (ALS), Financial Management System (FMS), Exchange Rate (NX), Check Inventory (IV), Tax (TX), Data Entry (DE), Safe Deposit Box System (SBA). Strong competency in Systematics GN/SA and TS native architecture. Time Deposits, Combined Statements, Transfer and Payments.
2. Experience and knowledge of the Core banking products knowledge: Customer demographics, C/A, S/A, Loans/lending, TD, Payment, debit card processing, Interest computation, Fees processing, Tax, general ledger functionalities and the underlying data interface and GL reconciliation
3. Able to translate the business requirements to technical design and development according to Core banking products
4. Understanding of agile process, experience in use of RDz, BitBucket, JIRA, RTC, ChangeManagement (CMAN)
5. Strong hands-on Banking applications development and/or support experience on Mainframe platform.
6. Conversant in COBOL, Easytrieve, CICS, JCL, DB2, MQ, Java, Files structure concepts; support tool such as AbendAID, Omegamon, Job Scheduler (OPC), Splunk.
7. Experience in designing, developing and setting up online service/API
8. Experience in batch scheduling and monitoring concepts.
9. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Willing to explore new tools to integrate and harness the advantages from Mainframe.
11. Must be a team player who can interact with both Technology and Business users
