We are currently seeking a ITSS-Microsoft Power BI Developer- HUMJ to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu (IN-TN), India (IN).

The Power BI Dashboard Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports within the Power BI platform, enabling actionable business insights and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

•            Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports from multiple data sources, including but not limited to SQL, Snowflake, and Databricks (using Delta Sharing).

•            Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and IT partners to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.

•            Optimize dashboard performance and ensure adherence to organizational data governance, access controls, and privacy standards.

•            Manage dataset connections and scheduling refreshes using approved gateway solutions in a cloud environment.

•            Participate in the onboarding and provisioning process for Power BI workspace access as required by internal policies.

•            Ensure compliance with all Humana IT policies, standards, and relevant industry regulations.

•            Provide troubleshooting support for dashboard publishing, access issues, and report modification, including usage of designated service accounts and OneDrive storage procedures.

Required Qualifications:

•            Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.

•            Minimum 3 years of experience developing Power BI dashboards in enterprise environments.

•            Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, including advanced DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.

•            Experience connecting to cloud databases (e.g., PostgreSQL via ODBC, Databricks via Delta Sharing).

•            Familiarity with gateway setup, access request processes, and cloud workspace management.

•            Strong understanding of data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.

•            Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

•            Experience working in healthcare or highly regulated industries.

•            Knowledge of Humana’s internal systems and policies regarding data access and reporting.

•            Microsoft Power BI certification.
