We are currently seeking a Operations Expert to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu (IN-TN), India (IN).

 

Role Summary

 

The purpose of the role is to monitor day-to-day operations, act on incidents, resolve issues within defined SLAs, monitor and report on performance, and recommend actionable improvements to ensure the application is stable and available as expected.

 

Area of Responsibility

 

  • Expert in Service and incident management with tools like ServiceNow
  • Independently monitor and report Operation KPIs and report them via Dashboards
  • Good to have exposure in setting up operational alerts via tools
  • Experience working with Agile Ecosystem – Principles, timeboxing, roles and ceremonies
  • Lead Technical discussions with customers to find the best possible solutions.
  • Familiar with agile methodologies and have prior experience working with agile teams using Scrum/Kanban
  • Proficiency in Software Development best practices - Secure coding standards, Unit testing frameworks, Code coverage, Quality gates.

 

Knowledge / Experience

 

  • 6 to 9 years of experience in IT with a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a hands-on full stack web developer, developing end to end Web application which includes Angular frontend, Java, and PostgreSQL (or MySQL) backend.
  • Expert in developing Angular based front end (preferably version 15 or above) and Java based API/Microservices (Java version preferably 8 or above, good to know Java 17)
  • Good knowledge on AWS ECS
  • Expert in developing applications using Microservice architecture
  • Experience in WebAPI/Rest API development integrating to frontend
  • Authentication and Authorization principles using Oauth2 or M2M
  • Experience with API Documentation – OpenAPI
  • Experience on TDD approach using Junit.
  • Experience working with Agile Ecosystem – Principles, timeboxing, roles and ceremonies
