We are currently seeking a Redshift Admin to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu (IN-TN), India (IN).

Redshift Admin

> Database management: Designing, installing, and maintaining database servers, as well as installing, upgrading, and managing database applications 
> Security: Optimizing database security 
> Performance: Monitoring performance and troubleshooting issues 
> Data: Managing data migration, backup, and recovery 
> Standards: Setting and maintaining database standards 
> Configuration: Managing system configuration and upgrades 
> Help desk: Responding to help desk requests and providing technical support 
> System operation: Monitoring system operation and responding to security or user issues 
> Equipment: Installing, testing, and troubleshooting computer equipment 
> Handling deployments 
> AWS services monitoring

Requirements and skills
> Proven working experience as a Database Administrator
> Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications
> Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
> Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding
> Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools
> Familiarity with programming languages API
> Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically
> BE degree in a computer discipline or relevant certification
