We are currently seeking a SAP Finance - Banking Consultant to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu (IN-TN), India (IN).

Key responsibilities

• Business Requirements Analysis and Solution Design: Collaborate with Disbursement team to understand their business needs, analyze existing processes, and translate those into detailed SAP banking solution designs. This may involve designing custom solutions where standard SAP functionalities don't fully meet client requirements.
• SAP Module Configuration and Implementation: Configure and implement relevant SAP banking modules such as FBZP (Automatic Payment program set-up), Bank Communication Management (BCM), EBS (Electronic Bank Statement) processing and other relevant configurations required for banking operations.
• Integration and Interface Management: Ensure seamless integration of SAP banking modules with Integration systems and external banking systems.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Create and execute test plans (e.g., unit testing, user acceptance testing) to ensure system functionality, accuracy, and adherence to business requirements.
• User Training and Support: Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users to ensure smooth adoption of the new SAP banking solutions. Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot technical issues that arise within the SAP environment.
• Project Management and Documentation: Participate in project meetings, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and develop and maintain project documentation including system design specifications, user manuals, and configuration guides.
• Industry Expertise and Best Practices: Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the SAP banking landscape and leverage this knowledge to recommend improvements and enhancements. 

Required skills and qualifications

• SAP Banking Experience: Demonstrated experience (e.g., 5+ years) in implementing and supporting SAP banking solutions, including modules like SWIFT Bank Communication Management, Bank Statements processing (MT940, CAMT053 etc.)
• SAP FICO Knowledge: A good grasp of SAP FICO modules (Financial Accounting and Controlling) and their integration with banking processes.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its specific functionalities within the banking sector.  Familiarity with ABAP programming is desirable for understanding and potentially customizing SAP applications.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities are crucial for identifying and addressing complex business and technical challenges. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment is also important.
