Software Development Senior Associate

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled L1 Support Specialist with expertise in the Blue Prism RPA tool, along with foundational knowledge in .NET development and SQL databases. The ideal candidate will provide first-level support for Blue Prism bots, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth operation of automation workflows, while managing incidents effectively using ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Blue Prism Support:

• Monitor, maintain, and provide L1 support for Blue Prism bots in production and test environments.
• Resolve basic issues related to bot execution, scheduling, and configurations.
• Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 support as needed.

2. Incident Management (ServiceNow):

• Log, track, and resolve incidents and service requests in ServiceNow within defined SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and suggest preventive measures.

3. Troubleshooting & Debugging:

• Use debugging tools to identify and fix errors in BOT execution.
• Analyze logs to diagnose issues in workflows or integrations.

4. Collaboration:

• Work with development teams for bug fixes, enhancements, and deployments.
• Coordinate with end-users to understand and replicate issues.

5. .NET and SQL Tasks:

• Leverage .NET knowledge to understand and support integrations with Blue Prism.
• Write and execute basic SQL queries to validate data and assist with troubleshooting.
• Support in updating stored procedures or database configurations if required.

6. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed documentation of issues, resolutions, and best practices.
• Generate periodic reports on bot performance, error trends, and SLA adherence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

• Min 1-2 years Hands-on experience with Blue Prism RPA tool (preferably certified).
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of .NET Framework (C#, VB.NET preferred).
• Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for troubleshooting and validation.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
