We are currently seeking a Software Development Senior Specialist to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu (IN-TN), India (IN).

Production Support Lead

Is accountable for monitoring and addressing issues found on the assigned production systems.

Participates in reviewing and documenting current systems and in proposing/implementing enhancements.

Experience:

•             Thorough knowledge of and skill in database ETL processes.

•             Proficient knowledge of .Net programming.

•             Effective time management and organizational skills.

•             The ability to take responsibility for one’s own performance.

•             High degree of integrity in handling confidential information.

Skills:

•             Strong experience with ETL development and data integration best practices.

•             Troubleshoot and optimize cloud data pipelines for performance, security, and reliability.

•             Strong SQL skills and familiarity with finance-focused databases and reporting systems.

•             Analyze and Optimize query performance.

•             Proficiency programming in more than one object-oriented programming language; .Net, JavaScript, HTML, VB6, VB.NET and C#.

•             Providing technical support for web, desktop or mobile applications.

•             Upgrading, configuring and debugging existing systems.

•             Triage complex issues and handle escalations.

•             Identify root cause in the code, suggest break-fix activities in the code and/or DB.

•             Exposure to modern data security and privacy practices.

•             Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, risk, and IT teams.

•             Process oriented mindset and ability to change/adapt quickly.

•             Willing to provide support after office hours, weekends and stay on call when business needs.

•             Hands on experience with application support workload a plus.

•             Knowledge of Insurance industry a plus.

•             General AWS knowledge a plus.
