We are currently seeking a Systems Integration Advisor to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu (IN-TN), India (IN).

Role Purpose

Design and build the SQL Server data foundation for the monitoring solution, converting raw SSAS/ALETL telemetry into traceable, historised, queryable and Power BI-ready information.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform source-to-metric mapping for ALETL logs, RunContext, SSAS DMVs and Extended Event outputs.
• Design logical and physical data models covering raw, staging, curated, dimension, fact, snapshot, configuration, audit, exception and serving layers.
• Define fact grain, keys, conformed dimensions, SCD/history patterns, indexing and retention design.
• Develop advanced T-SQL procedures, views and transformations for monitoring and observability data.
• Parse dbo.ALETL_Log messages into structured category, object, status, duration, error and correlation fields.
• Correlate processing events using available identifiers and RunContext information without relying only on timestamps.
• Implement duplicate detection, malformed/incomplete event quarantine, auditability and safe rerun/reprocessing patterns.
• Build derived metrics, snapshots, baselines, trends and threshold-supporting data structures.
• Create approved SQL serving views for Power BI and support source-to-report reconciliation.
• Optimise SQL queries, indexes and data structures for expected monitoring volumes and collection frequencies.
• Package database changes using SSDT/DACPAC/Git-aligned deployment practices.
• Perform developer unit testing and support SIT/UAT defect analysis and correction.

Mandatory Skills

• Advanced T-SQL and strong SQL Server development skills.
• Logical and physical data modelling.
• Dimensional modelling: facts, dimensions, grain and conformed dimensions.
• Historisation patterns including snapshots and SCD1/SCD2 where appropriate.
• Stored procedures, views, functions, indexing and query optimisation.
• Log parsing, event correlation and data transformation.
• Error handling, auditability, duplicate prevention and safe rerun design.
• SSDT/DACPAC and Git/source-control based database delivery.
• Ability to build Power BI-ready serving views.

Desirable Skills

• SSAS Multidimensional data/metadata familiarity.
• Experience with monitoring, telemetry or operational data.
• SQL Agent or equivalent scheduling experience.
• Banking or regulated-enterprise data-platform experience.

Recommended Experience

Recommended: 8+ years in SQL Server/data engineering, with strong hands-on experience designing production-grade data models and transformation logic.
