We are currently seeking a Techno Functional ETL Migration Engineer to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu (IN-TN), India (IN).

Job Title:Techno Functional ETL Migration Engineer – Data Integration

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled ETL Migration Engineer to design, develop, and execute data migration and integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ETL processes, data mapping, and transformation, ensuring seamless migration of data across systems with high accuracy and performance.

Key Responsibilities

ETL Development & Migration

• Design and implement ETL pipelines for data migration and integration projects
• Analyze source and target systems to define data mapping and transformation rules
• Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading activities
• Execute large-scale data migration projects with minimal downtime
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems

Data Integration

• Integrate data from multiple sources such as databases, APIs, flat files, and cloud platforms
• Develop reusable data integration components and frameworks
• Handle batch and real-time data processing requirements
• Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability

Validation & Testing

• Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and error handling
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and data validation scripts
• Troubleshoot data issues and implement corrective actions

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and developers
• Document data flows, mappings, and migration processes
• Provide support during UAT and production deployment

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or DataStage
• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with data migration and data warehousing concepts
• Knowledge of data transformation, cleansing, and validation techniques
• Familiarity with APIs and data integration patterns

Cloud & Modern Data Stack

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure (ADF, Synapse), AWS (Glue), or GCP
• Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus
• Understanding of data lakes and modern data architectures

Nice to Have

• Experience with real-time streaming tools (e.g., Kafka)
• Knowledge of Python or scripting languages for data processing
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
• Experience with data governance and data quality tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering, or related field
• Typically 4+ years of experience in ETL, data migration, or data integration roles
