NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Project Delivery Executive - Digital Manufacturing and Shop Floor Automation SME to join our team in Chicago, Illinois (US-IL), United States (US).

Day to Day job Duties:

• Responsible for architecting, implementing and supporting IoT solutions for large scale global manufacturing customers
• Work closely with the project team and lead analysis of manufacturing business processes, and business system integration including the development of functional requirements, design specifications, and test plans which include process flow diagrams.
• Providing functional knowledge on various key manufacturing business platforms
• Provide oversight and SME expertise around various MES systems and interfaces such as SAP, LIMS, and smartgrain
• Dashboard development to visualize and analyze data to gain insights
• Data integration across critical platforms for business intelligence
• Rollout of Industry 4.0 initiatives
• As a lead Architect work closely with the plant operations managers/production managers on shop floor automation strategies, lead IoT projects and design solutions
• Lead a team through the requirements gathering, design, specification, deployment process, to insure customer business process requirements are met.
• Convert user requirements into process and system requirements and build solutions to these specifications
• Drive business value creation in the engagement and demonstrate thought leadership around manufacturing 4.0
• Be the “Trusted Advisor” for our clients and bring in Industry best practices, drive shop floor innovation and working with the sales, client management and consulting teams

Skills Required

• Expert ability to identify and evaluate existing and potential business challenges and create solutions.
• Manufacturing SME knowledge, especially related to supply chain, smart manufacturing, or applying digital technologies (e.g. analytics, automation, etc.) specifically to manufacturing processes.
• Customer engagement and project management skills to execute customer projects.
• Highly influential with ability to adapt communication style to both non-technical and technical audiences.
• Models effective collaboration and partnership skills.
• Models exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Expert ability to develop comprehensive and complex operational and strategic plans and associated deliverables.
• Expert ability to lead and develop a matrixed and cross-functional team from various backgrounds.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in the Manufacturing Industry segment
• Minimum 5+ years of experience architecting, implementing and supporting IoT solutions for large scale global manufacturing customers
• Minimum 5+ years Digital Manufacturing
• Minimum 4+ years of experience with Supply Chain or Manufacturing Operations
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in delivering consulting/professional services or comparable experience.
• This position requires someone who can travel at least 80%. Preferred location is East Coast or Midwest.
• Degree: Bachelors in Business, Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
