NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Senior Analyst Project Scheduler to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina (US-SC), United States (US).



Primary responsibilities include:

  • Establish procedures and time frames for input into the master schedule
  • Develop and maintain the integrated project schedule
  • Provide schedule metrics for input into overall project progress reporting
  • Understand and utilize Cognosante scheduling assets (e.g. schedule standards, templates, policies, schedule management plan templates, procedures, checklists)
  • Review and assess schedule artifacts in support of project audits, proposal development, and baseline reviews
  • Consultative support to project team members, including schedule and IMS development support/facilitation, training, and one-on-one support
  • Create schedule communications – informative and visually appealing schedule communications and graphics for use with internal and external customer
  • Configure and manage Microsoft Project Online (Project Web App) environment to support specific project requirements
  • Conduct of schedule health reviews and development of portfolio reporting and analysis methods and tools
  • Employee is expected to undertake any additional duties as they are assigned by their Manager


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of work experience or 7+ years of work experience without a bachelor’s degree
  • Experience developing and maintaining project/program schedules with Microsoft Project 2010/2013, including experience managing complex schedules with Microsoft Project
  • System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management knowledge
  • Experience providing evaluation services and project auditing, Human Services or Healthcare IT industry preferred
  • Experience creating custom fields, views, tables, and reports
  • Experience creating project schedule templates and related resources (e.g. schedule management plan template, checklists, quick reference guides, or training materials)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Project Online (Project Web App), Microsoft Project Server, and/or SharePoint experience; versions 2013 or above
  • Experience using Microsoft Project 2016
  • Experience with developing and maintaining an integrated master schedule (IMS)
  • Experience using Macros, VBA, Excel, and/or out-of-the-box functionality to extend Microsoft Project to create custom tools and reports (e.g. schedule health checks, progress reports)
  • Experience using Microsoft Visio/Excel in coordination with Microsoft Project to create custom schedule reports
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Hands-on experience working with project managers to facilitate schedule development
  • Experience creating schedule related communications and presentations for sponsor or client presentations
  • A team player and a consistent, dependable performer with an excellent work ethic, flexible “can-do” attitude, and a results-driven commitment to success
  • Ability to work independently and manage work to a defined schedule
  • Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification
  • Microsoft Project/Project Server Certification(s) (e.g. Microsoft Certified Professional)
