We are currently seeking a Front Desk Manager to join our team in Crystal City, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

 

NTT DATA’s Front Desk Manager provides a full range of administrative duties for our client's Training Facility, to include serving working with the client office of security; administering access control protocols by providing customer service to personnel arriving at the training center; issuing pre­ authorized badges to authorized personnel and visitors; monitoring and ensuring that all personnel and visitors register upon arrival to the training center and return issued badges upon departure; serving as the custodian of TDY and Visitor badges.

 

The front desk manager will be responsible for reverifying that acceptable identification documents are presented by visitors in order to be granted access; monitoring points of entry and egress to ensure all doors are properly secured; maintaining a daily log of attendees and visitors; briefing visiting personnel regarding occupant emergency plans, safety, and sheltering in place at the center ; coordinating with the client's office to ensure badges are programmed for access; apprising client of issues, concerns, reported crimes, and security hardware malfunctions; submitting requests to client for services regarding systems problems.

 

Duties will also include:

  • Working closely with registrar and at times act as a backup registrar
  • Providing classroom directions and training center information to students and instructors.
  • Answering reception area phones.
  • Scheduling center training rooms.
  • Coordinating mail delivery for training center.
  • Arranging secretarial and other training center services.
  • Notifying requesters of approval or disapproval of their room request
  • Designing, managing, changing and updating the training center classroom signage.

 

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Associates Degree plus 4 additional years of  work experience in lieu of a BS/BA
    • 8 additional years of work experience in lieu of a degree
       

Experience Requirements:

  • 2 or more years of administrative assistant or front desk management experience work.
  • 1 or more years directing center visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
  • 1 or more years maintaining security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges.
  • 1 or more years of experience utilzing of Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • U.S. Citizen with a Secret (or higher) Clearance or (Interim required to start)
