We are currently seeking a Investment Banking Analyst, M&A - Remote based role in US to join our team in newark, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

Corporate Development Specialist:   (remote role to be located in the US)

NTT DATAs Corporate Development team partners with key executives and business unit heads to identify and execute targeted acquisitions/investments in support of our broader corporate strategy.  The corporate development team is responsible for identifying, structuring, and executing acquisitions and we are seeking a Corporate Development Specialist as we continue to build the Corporate development team.  This is an opportunity to contribute to a critical part of NTT DATAs growth strategy as part of a high impact team.


Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting detailed market research through various data elements (financial, market trends, competitor information, etc.) in specific companies and industries in support of potential acquisition activity.
  • Supporting financial analysis of potential acquisition targets and preparing valuation analyses of potential valuation targets.
  • Actively participating in due diligence processes to ensure that information is received and reviewed in a timely manner and that appropriate reports for management are completed
  • Preparing Investment Committee and Board of Director materials for presentation of investment opportunities
  • Help manage and coordinate internal diligence teams + third party diligence parties (e.g., accountants, lawyers, bankers)
  • Assist in developing initial integration plans, ensuring that due diligence findings/readouts are appropriately incorporated.
  • Support post-closing periodical reporting requirement and monitor acquisition performance and realization of growth targets.

Requirements include:

In order to support NTT DATA Services’ long-term growth plans, the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate these required skills:

  • Experience in M&A, Corporate Development of Finance/Valuation related roles with a focus on corporate transactions
  • Proven analytical capabilities and Extensive Financial Modelling skills and an understanding of valuation methodologies.
  • In depth experience forecasting balance sheet, cash flow statement and Profit and Loss statements
  • Desire to develop into a skilled M&A professional with an ability to lead a range of M&A processes
  • The ability to analyze market data to identify trends and acquisition opportunities in support of NTT DATA Services
  • Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform complex analysis that have a global impact to our organization.
  • MBA and/or CPA or CFA or advanced finance degree.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other office tools.

 Basic Minimum Requirements:

  • MBA and/or CPA or CFA or advanced finance degree.
  • 2+ years prior on the job experience in an Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Private Equity, Accounting/Valuation, or related position
