NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Field Services Technician to join our team in Denver, Colorado (US-CO), United States (US).

 

 

Deskside Field Services technician requirements

  • Experience or knowledge in the following: 
  • Basic workstation imaging and configuration with required hardware installation quotas weekly for high volumes of equipment each month
  • Customer facing 90% of the time requiring professionalism and spontaneous technical troubleshooting skills
  • Familiar with Dell desktops and laptops;   MS Surface Pro tablets and Xplore Xslate tablets helpful but will train
  • Capable of installing basic computer hardware peripherals including printers, scanners and multiple monitor configurations for workstations.
  • McAfee encryption and Anti-Virus
  • Familiar with CyberArk accounts and security management
  • Active Directory access, navigation and use. Domain navigation.
  • Daily ITSM ticketing and asset management application navigation and use preferred; training provided
  • Hardware repair /troubleshooting for Dell laptops. Desktops and printers
  • A+ certification
  • 2 year degree in IT or equivalent years of experience in IT support in the Utility industry or similar industry
  • Windows versions 7, 8.1 and 10
  • MS office 2007, 2010
  • SCCM or other software distribution delivery tools
  • Exchange server basics
  • VPN
  • Remote control tools for troubleshooting customer issues (Remote assistance, etc.)

 

 

Other requirements include -

  • Excellent communication skills -  both verbal and written
  • Ability to perform in a multi-tasking environment
  • Experience working in small and large team environments managed by a team lead
  • Reliable transportation and ability to transport small quantities of equipment to customer sites
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds and palletize, organize or move large quantities of equipment for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work flexible hours if needed plus OT
  • Ability to travel outside metro areas with the ability to stay overnight for extended work in remote areas if required – 10% travel
  • Denver, CO -   downtown Denver Office location

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years related IT work
