We seek a Sales Executive to focus on New Logo Acquisition and Existing Clients in the Automotive Industry. This individual will partner with other NTT Data leaders and internal solutions and support organizations to execute the Automotive Industry go-to market plan.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategy for New Logo Acquisition within the Automotive Industry
  • Develop and execute a relationship plan for prospective customers utilizing NTT Data resources such as Marketing, Consulting, and the CRO office
  • Generate, contribute, track and manage new sales and account plan information.
  • Promote solutions-selling with focus on value-add techniques to identify business needs, develop customized solutions, and establish business partner at the customers C-Suite Level
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales 
  • Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking
  • Qualify prospects against NTT Data criteria for ideal customers and sales
  • Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects
  • Make presentations to internal and customer senior leaders and decision makers
  • Work with technical staff and product specialists where required to address customer requirements
  • Report on sales activity (include desired frequency – daily is ideal for accuracy)
  • Cultivate strong relationships with third party and partner companies that may be required to deliver full solutions to customers
  • Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings
  • Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace
  • Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity
  • Perferred-15 plus years of IT Service/Consulting industry experience with selling large complex IT solutions
  • Preferred-Automotive Industry knowledge with solid understanding of industry trends, solutions, and business driver
  • Preferred-Experience in selling to North American based Automotive OEMs and Suppliers
  • Preferred-Cross cultural experience

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Consulting Services and Digital IT Solutions sales
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience selling into Manufacturing and Automotive
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
