NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Mid Level Engineering Technician (HM&E) to join our team in Dover, New Hampshire (US-NH), United States (US).

 

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis to determine new system maintenance requirements
  • Develop or revise documents by researching, extracting and analyzing a variety of information from operating manuals, drawings, technical manuals, equipment specifications, and configuration data
  • Apply maintenance engineering practices to develop, prepare, or recommend written planned maintenance procedures on shipboard components and systems
  • Review Technical Feedback Reports and develop proposed Type Commander screening recommendations

 

This position is open to US citizens only.

 

Education

  • Technical School diploma required which includes Navy Submarine School, Nuclear Power School or Naval Shipyard Apprentice Program. Navy rate of E5 in a technical rating

 

Experience

  • Typically requires 3 years relevant experience

 

Specific Skills

  • Must have an Active Secret clearance
  • 3+ years relevant experience operating and maintaining shipboard equipment and systems, working within the Planned Maintenance System (PMS), and the 3M System
  • 3+ years experience in the maintenance of and/or operation of submarine or surface ship hull, mechanical or electrical (HM&E) systems. This experience has been accumulated while on active duty in the military or while serving in a shipyard
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical/electronic systems
  • 3+ years experience with Technical Feedback Report (TFBR) system
  • 2+ years experience in preparation or use of Navy Submarine or Surface Ship maintenance documentation or input/review of maintenance databases

 

Desired Skills

  • Qualified as Enlisted or Officer Submarine Warfare
  • Qualified as Work Center Supervisor, Divisional or Departmental
  • Previous duties as a Ship's 3-M Coordinator is a plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to work shipboard for ship checks.
