Senior Business Analyst - Payments

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business analyst who has worked on Payments domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of banking systems and a proven track record in engaging with clients across the stages of the Project Lifecycle to gather requirements, convert them into user stories, read legislative documents where required, provide walkthrough of requirements to the stakeholders, and work with technical delivery team to get the requirements delivered.

What you will do:

• Interacting with business owners, product teams, product vendors, other applications owners, external customers and internal customers to identify requirements and deliver those within stipulated timelines.
• Provide content leadership in working with the clients in defining solutions to their business requirements.
• Interacting with business stakeholders for requirements gathering, analysis, documentation etc.
• Work with the delivery / implementation teams to provide domain inputs and to ensure delivery and implementation of the proposed solution.
• Interacting with the technical team to ensure that the requirements are clear and well understood.
• Translating business requirement document to user stories.
• 8+ years of Industry experience, having worked in Tier-1 IT organizations in BFSI domain with a focus on Payments Domain experience in  Low Value Payments, High Value Payments, Cross Border Payments and key regulations & associated IT impacts, affecting the Payments market, such as Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), Instant Payments, Payment Services Directive, Open Banking, CBPR+, Target Payments, SEPA direct debits etc.
• Expertise in Messaging Schemas, and Message formats
• Should be able to able to play catalyst role between business and IT
• Good communication skills with ability to lead domain discussions with BFSI customers

Required Skillset

• Must have in depth solutioning experience in Banking Domain with focus on payments.
• Should have the ability to understand As-is and gather requirements.
• Should have the ability to read and understand regulatory changes such as SWIFT / SEPA rulebooks and understand requirements.
• Exposure on Instant payments, ISO20022 and PSD2 would be additional benefits.
• Should be able to talk to multiple stakeholders from business, IT, solution architect.
• Well versed in documentation skills such as flow diagrams, procedures and manuals.
