Solution Architect - Mobile Banking

Role:

You will support the delivery of a coherent architecture and technology roadmap to enable the Mobile transformation Programme and support the bank’s critical requirement for a strategic Mobile 4.0 program as well as personal finance management.

The ideal candidate will have previous working experience within Open Banking, Enrichment, Personal Finance Management and AI solutions within B2B4C domain with a strong understanding of data security, authentication, and financial application features, as well as a commitment to developing tools that help users make sound financial decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Take a lead role in the detailed design of the transformed Mobile 4.0 ecosystem from a technology, process, integration and data design perspective.
• Ensure the successful implementation of the Mobile 4.0 roadmap through the definition of a common set of design and process standards, driving the adoption of these standards across the enterprise, with our ITO & ADM delivery partners, payment product vendors and implementation teams.
• Design and implement key features that empower users to track their finances, set budgets, and manage their personal financial goals.
• Define app functionalities and user journeys, focusing on usability and intuitive navigation
• Assists domain architecture team on solutions management and timing of financial spend for application solutions.
• Assist in the establishment of an IT Architecture practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standards methodology.
• Implement and uphold data security measures in compliance with PCI-DSS and GDPR to protect user information.
• Implement robust authentication mechanisms, including two-factor authentication and session management, to secure user access. Regularly assess authentication flows to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
• Apply data encryption techniques to protect sensitive information both at rest and in transit. For apps with chat or messaging features, incorporate secure messaging protocols to ensure privacy and integrity of communications.

Minimum Criteria for this Role:

• Successful candidate to have 10+ years enterprise technology experience, with a proven track record in the delivery of IT enabled change.
• Experience of Open Banking, Enrichment, Finance Management or AI solutions within B2B4C domain will be an advantage.
• Experience in the Personal Financial Management and financial data consolidation domain.
• Experience of designing latest mobile 4.0 HLDS (High Level Design Documents)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues and strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences at senior levels within the bank. Interpersonal skills - collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills
• Broad understanding of Application, Information and Infrastructure technologies & practices
• Project and programme management planning and organisational skills.
