NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Radiology/Cardiology PACS System Analyst to join our team in El Paso, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).



Role Responsibilities:

-Provide systems security administration, and coordinate McKesson’s support for the Radiology Picture Archiving and Communication System and/or Cardiology Picture Archiving and Communication System

-Providing clinical application support and peripheral device support directly to hospital end-users

-Work daily with physicians and clinical staff to ensure imaging systems are operating correctly

-Work with x-ray modalities to ensure image transmission is working correctly

-Oversees equipment maintenance and systems testing, upgrading, and installing

-Merge patient accounts

-Assists in all system upgrades and major projects for the entire PACS team.

-Serve as the escalation contact between hospital and centralized support teams to resolve issues or provide status updates

-Perform system maintenance on the PACS system, images, interfaces and databases

-Perform system failure and recovery and resolution/work-around methods

-Perform system troubleshooting of anomalies - notify technical support during system anomalies

-Manage, monitor and maintain PACS system to ensure the maximum uptime and availability

-Configure, maintain, and document user access, peripheral devices, user profiles and system configurations

-Train new system users; design the training plan



-Prior in depth experience in information technology , including Carestream CD/DR, RIS, Cerner PowerChart/Radnet, Powerscribe, Radiology/Cardiology modalities

-3+ years of experience working with Radiology Picture Archiving and Communication System and/or Cardiology Picture Archiving and Communication Systems

-Proven experience working with CPACS within a hospital or clinical setting

-Proven experience with DICOM, (full understanding of the Protocol, syntax and compression ratios)

-Ability to interact effectively with clinical staff

-Provide on-call support



-Bachelor’s degree in related field

-Licensed PACS Administrator Certification CIIP or PARCA preferred

-Bilingual Spanish/English preferred

-Prior in depth experience with McKesson Radiology and Cardiology PACS Systems

-Prior experience as a Radiology or Cardiology Technician

-Prior experience with Cerner Millenium and Powerscribe systems

-Prior experience with system integration with EMR/RIS/PACS systems
