We are currently seeking a Data Center Technician working in a hospital to join our team in El Segundo, California (US-CA), United States (US).

We are currently seeking a Data Center Ops Analyst to join our team in El Segundo California.  Provides operational support for systems hardware, peripherals and software within NTTdata centers and related facilities. Identifies, isolates, and resolves problems. Works in conjunction with the technical support staff to implement immediate resolutions to more critical problems. Monitors and manages systems consoles for the following: problems, systems availability, production scheduling and control, reports distribution, service level support, administration and controls, equipment operation, backup recovery, procedural documentation, and execution of the disaster recovery .plan. Identifies areas of possible automation and/or improvement to provide better customer service and enhance problem resolution techniques. Understands and manages problems utilizing defined problem and change management policies and procedures. Conducts periodic inspections of assigned data centers to ensure production and data center logistic policies are being met. Responsible for rack assignments, assembly, installations and moves. Plans, organizes, and coordinates ongoing data center installations and modifications to meet current and future timelines/demands. Responsible for capturing and reporting metrics to leadership. Responsible for controlling data center inventory. Communicates provisions of data center policies to the corporation and facilitates customer understanding of processes and procedures. Plans and coordinates with facilities to ensure appropriate data center capacity/scalability. Develops solutions to complex technical problems, which may impact multiple work areas Problem Solving – Judgment/Complexity/Ingenuity Guidance – Direction/Planning/Independence/Initiative Relationships – Sphere of Influence/Communication Knowledge- Technical/Professional/Business Added Benefit - Person with Scripting and Automation tools knowledge

 

 

Basic Qualifications

2+ years of Data Center Experience

2+ years of Systems Administration with Commvault

2+ years of Service management with ITIL-ITSM Processes
 

 

 

Responsibiities;

 

  • Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware/software
  • Incidents/problems
  • Provide solution(s)/work around(s) to incidents and Problems
  • Create, manage and evolve polices, processes and procedures
  • Create and manage a SharePoint documents records library
  • Install, maintain and support new Infrastructure
  • Work to SLA thresholds for incident(s), request(s) and problem(s)
  • Prioritising and managing several open cases and mini projects at one time
  • -Systems monitoring
  • Supporting Users on both hardware and Software applications
  • Administer backups and restores
  • Patching servers
  • Preferred any of CCNA/CCNP MCSE ITIL
  • Performance monitoring IT infrastructure
