IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Ferentino, Latium, Italy

Project Overview: New construction and pharmaceutical manufacturing sites are expanding. This role will lead the IT workstreams and sit onsite frequently with the local teams.
 

Role Scope / Deliverables: 

• Project Management: Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of new IT systems and Infrastructure, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. 

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to gather requirements, define project scope, and align project objectives with business goals.
   
• Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and provide regular status updates to key stakeholders.
   
• Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with external vendors and contractors, ensuring effective communication, contract compliance, and timely delivery of project deliverables.
   
• Change Management: Facilitate organizational change management by ensuring effective communication, training, and user adoption of new manufacturing systems.
   
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and automation to enhance manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
   
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and lessons learned, to ensure effective knowledge transfer and project governance.
   

Key Skills: 

• Fluent in English and Italian (both written and verbal) to effectively communicate with stakeholders at various levels.
  Proven experience as an IT Project Manager in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry or a similar regulated industry.
   
• Strong knowledge and experience of delivering IT Infrastructure projects.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with a track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
   
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
   
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
   
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is preferred.
• General knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems, including MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) would be advantageous but not essential.
