NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Quality Assurance Tester/Business Analyst - Frankfort, KY to join our team in Frankfort, Kentucky (US-KY), United States (US).

 

 

We are currently seeking a skilled software Quality Assurance Tester/Business Analyst.   Candidates must be experienced in testing for large scale IT systems, and also have strong business analysis skills including in depth knowledge of Software Development Life cycle (SDLC).  The selected candidate will participate in JAD sessions with end users to define and document business requirements and use cases.  In this role an individual will regularly work under deadlines and should be capable of handling extreme workloads while acting independently, with only general directions.  In addition, proficiency in Microsoft Product Suites including, Word, Excel, and Visio is needed.

 

Primary Responsibilities:    

  • Perform Quality Assurance/Testing activities.  
  • Under general supervision, collaborate with System Analysts and Software Developers to compile and write test plans and test cases for a variety of projects and system releases.
  • Estimate and plan testing activities in collaboration with the project team, including all relevant details of   the testing approach and scope and appropriate system regression based on the scope and risk involved.
  • Execute test plans and test cases and record results.
  • Continuously learn system functionality and use cases from both an IT and business perspective.
  • Document defects and collaborate with the team to get to root cause and ensure fixes are correct.
  • Produce tracking reports for project defect and testing status.
  • Practice and enforce Quality Assurance processes as they apply to the technical testing functions.
     

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience working as a member of a software testing team


Additional Skills Needed:

  • Experience with automated testing or any programming language is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Test Manager and TFS is plus.
  • Preferred experience in Medicaid or Health Care.
