NTT DATA is looking for DevSecOps Architect in Ft. Belvoir, VA to support a critical program to develop the capability to modernize applications and migrate then into the commercial cloud using Enterprise Common Shared Services. As part of this migration, the client requires that a thorough assessment is conducted of the composition of each of application to determine the proper modernization and migration methods needed to host the application in the commercial cloud. Once the assessment is completed, applications will be modernized as required and deployed to the appropriate impact level (IL, 2,3, 4 or 6).

Position's General Duties and Tasks

Responsible for understanding the customer business, technology, and operations DevOps landscape and advise on improvements to process, methodologies, technologies, and automation to streamline and improve the entire application modernization and migration to the cloud process—from inception and design, through deployment, operation and maintenance. Advise and align cross-functional organizational change to mature Agile and DevSecOps enablement utilizing NTT DATA's ADSOME2 framework. Analyzes, architects, and specifies the end-to-end software manufacturing automation process and microservices and associated KPIs, I/O, Gating Policy Criteria and associated event/triggers to be provided and consumed by the continuous delivery pipeline of tools in the toolchain. Works across domain boundaries to advise and align cross-functional organizational change to mature Agile and DevOps enablement utilizing NTT DATA DevOpsME framework.  Establish governance mechanisms for continuous monitoring of performance, availability, reusability, resilience, reliability, testability, scalability, supportability, security (PARTS) KPIs as these quality attributes apply to overall capabilities health. Scale systems/services, Agile SDLC, and operations sustainably using continuous-delivery pipeline interoperability and automation, and make actionable recommendations to improve PARTS, monitoring dashboards, and project velocity. Have smooth business acumen with technology foundation to bridge business, technology, and operations alignment, collaboration, and automation interoperability. Reports to the Program Manager

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently active Secret security clearance (or higher).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related IT field with 14 years in an architect role performing hands-on application and data enterprise solutions implementation of principles and patterns to deploy highly available and scalable products.
  • Must meet 8570 Information Assurance Technician Level II requirements (one of CCNA or CCNP Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CASP CE, CISA, CISSP (or Associate) GCED, GCIH AND a Computing Environment Certification in the area of expertise – e.g. AWS, Azure, RHEL, etc)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Agile coaching, mentoring, and maturation of team adoption and instantiation of the DevOps Architecture Framework and Roadmap.
  • Experience leading DevOps or SDLC conveyor belt manufacturing automation design/architecture.
  • Experience coding with one or more of the following Java, C#.NET, C++, Python, Bash, SSH, Ruby, Perl.
  • TOGAF or DoDAF or FEAF experience.
  • 5+ VSTS, Jira, Jenkins, Git, Docker, K8, Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Kafka, ELK, Splunk or similar.
  • Experience with hands-on Azure DevOps, Azure Service Fabric, TFS-->VSTS-->ADevOps, Azure Monitor, Azure Pipeline
  • Experience designing immutable infrastructure using IaC and applications compliant with CaC principles.
  • SOA/ESB, Microservices, or container orchestration and cloud provisioning strategies, concepts, and methods as they pertain to DevOps pipeline architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Business, technology, and operations process management and services orchestration.
  • Experience with EDI, Web Services, API Management, REST, and SOAP interoperability.
  • Experience re-platforming and refactoring applications to cloud based services
