NTT DATA is currently looking for an IT Project Manager (f/m/d) Oracle PLM, remote + travel to Bremen for major project milestones, for our growing team in Germany.

 

Role description

Our Project Management practice group is currently seeking an experienced IT Project Manager (f/m/d) who has strong experience implementing Oracle Product Lifecycle Management and PLM systems for one of our global Healthcare devices/Life Science clients, based out of Germany.

The ideal candidate is a solution-oriented leader that can apply project management techniques to implement 2-3 complex Oracle PLM projects, working with multiple business divisions from vision to realization. Ideally, you will be adept at building and maintaining relationships, highly analytical, customer-oriented, adaptable, and enjoy bringing structure and discipline to ambiguous spaces to realize measurable value for the business.
 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assume full responsibility and accountability for the project – the deliverables, the team, the budget, and schedule
  • Know project progress & communicate project status to all stakeholders
  • Stay in touch with progress of project dependencies
  • Act as a catalyst to resolve project-related problems
  • Ensure that the project utilizes the PM Framework to its advantage, not just as a check box
  • Ensure proper change control of key project artifacts
  • Conduct, document, and communicate Lessons Learned upon project completion
  • RAID docs – continue to keep ongoing document to capture any Risks, Actions, Decisions Made & Decisions Needed
  • Negotiate appropriately skilled resources for activities & tasks
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and deliverables for team members
  • Promote effective working relationships
  • Reward and recognize team members

 

Key skills

  • Several years of relevant work experience as a Project Manager with experience in implementing Oracle Cloud PLM IT projects, ideally in a Life science/Medical Devices industry
  • Proven experience in recent implementation of Oracle Cloud PLM (strong preference) or any other PLM systems
  • Experience in managing project implementations in the Life science domain
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to motivate cross functional teams and ensure high quality deliverables by project team
  • Functional knowledge of PLM for part management, document management, CAD management, change management etc.
  • Knowledge in performing strategic analysis for the project, developing schedules and methods for measuring results
  • Experience in roadmap/timeline planning, staffing activities, financial planning and management, project reporting to business and IT Stakeholders
  • Oracle Cloud PLM certification is a plus
  • Agile CSM / PMP / Prince 2
  • Knowledge in working with Validated systems (CFR 9 Part 11) is preferred
  • Clear & concise verbal and written communication skills, excellent presentation skills
  • Fluency in both German and English language preferred

 

Travel

You are expected to travel to customer site in Bremen for major milestones.
