NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Intermediate Level On-Site Fleet Support Representative to join our team in Groton, Connecticut (US-CT), United States (US).

 

 

Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Serve as the Customer On-Site Representative at the Submarine Regional Support Group in Groton CT.
  • Provides assistance in implementing maintenance products into Fleet Maintenance Availability (FMAV) and Depot Level Availabities work packages.
  • For each Fleet Maintenance Availability (FMAV) the successful candidate will review Inventories and Schedules and M&SWP for UROs and PMRs that are due. Update PMR hard copy records to show the assignment of UROs and PMRs scheduled during the FMAV and activate the jobs in RMAIS.  Upon completion of the FMAV, update RMAIS and PMR hard copy records to show the completion of UROs and PMRs.  Conduct reviews of DFSs affecting URO accomplishment to ensure accurate data is identified and ensure required OQE is submitted. 
  • For each Depot Level Availability, after the initial AWPs are issued, the successful candidate ensures AWPs have accounted for all UROs and PMRs that are due by comparing them to Inventories and Schedules.
  • Updates PMR hard copy records to show the assignment of UROs and PMRs during the Depot Availability and, when applicable, uses RMAIS to identify them as active work items. Upon completion of the availability, and upon receipt of applicable Objective Quality Evidence, update RMAIS and PMR hard copy records to show the completion of UROs and PMRs.
  • Ensures that all applicable Objective Quality Evidence is complete and accurate, and is retained in an auditable manner in accordance with Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual requirements. After database updates, he reviews reports and their records to ensure they are aligned.
  • Prepare and brief PMR and URO metrics during regularly scheduled progress reviews, and as required by the Ship, Squadron, and RSG.
  • Additionally, periodically performs shipboard program audits and training to ensure that PMR and URO program requirements are followed.

Education:

  • Typically requires at least 10 years relevant experience without a Degree; 4+ years relevant experience with Undergraduate Degree; 3+ years relevant experience with Graduate Degree

 

Specific Skills:

  • Must have an Active Secret clearance
  • 5+ years of experience in Navy HM&E or Combat Weapons System components required
  • 5+ years working within a Quality Management System

 

Desired Skills

  • Qualification in submarines while active duty in the Navy
  • 3-M Coordinator or Work Center Supervisor on a submarine
  • Windows and Microsoft Office PC software user
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office

 

Environmental Hazards

  • Frequent presence onboard a submarine is required, sometimes while the ship is in an industrial environment

 

Physical Requirements

  • Physical ability to work onboard a ship, climb ladders, inspect hard to reach areas
  • Some infrequent travel is required
