Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master with strong Delivery Management capabilities to lead complex Agile programs and drive successful execution across cross-functional teams. This role requires a servant leader who not only facilitates Agile ceremonies but also actively manages delivery execution, stakeholder alignment, risks, dependencies, financial awareness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate has experience operating in enterprise-scale environments, coordinating multiple Agile teams, and ensuring predictable delivery outcomes while fostering Agile maturity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Leadership & Scrum Facilitation
- Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including:
- Sprint Planning
- Daily Stand-Ups
- Sprint Reviews
- Sprint Retrospectives
- Backlog Refinement Sessions
- Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and delivery best practices.
- Drive Agile maturity and continuous improvement initiatives across teams.
- Remove blockers and impediments impacting team productivity and delivery timelines.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, transparency, and ownership.
Delivery Management
- Manage end-to-end delivery execution for multiple Agile teams or workstreams.
- Ensure timely delivery of features, enhancements, and releases aligned with business objectives.
- Track sprint progress, velocity, capacity, burn-down metrics, and delivery KPIs.
- Coordinate cross-functional dependencies between engineering, QA, product, architecture, infrastructure, and business teams.
- Proactively identify delivery risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage release planning, roadmap alignment, and sprint forecasting.
- Support production readiness and deployment coordination activities.
- Drive predictable and high-quality delivery outcomes in fast-paced environments.
Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Provide executive-level status reporting, delivery dashboards, and progress updates.
- Facilitate decision-making discussions and escalation management.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure backlog prioritization aligns with business goals.
- Ensure alignment between project scope, timelines, resources, and delivery expectations.
Project & Operational Oversight
- Monitor team performance, delivery health, and operational metrics.
- Support resource planning and capacity management activities.
- Ensure Agile governance standards and compliance requirements are followed.
- Assist with financial tracking, forecasting, and delivery reporting when required.
- Contribute to process optimization and organizational transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Agile project delivery, Scrum Master, or Delivery Management roles.
- Strong experience managing enterprise-scale Agile delivery programs.
- Deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Agile methodologies.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional distributed teams.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience managing delivery risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
- Hands-on experience with Agile delivery metrics and reporting.
Required Technical & Tool Experience
- Jira administration and Agile board management
- Confluence
- Azure DevOps
- Microsoft Project (preferred)
- ServiceNow (preferred)
- Smartsheet or similar project tracking tools
- Reporting and dashboard creation
Preferred Skills
- Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills
- Executive communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in highly matrixed enterprise environments
- Experience supporting digital transformation programs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
