NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Disaster Recovery Engineer to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).



IT Disaster Recovery Technical Planning. IT Disaster Recovery strategy design. Development of IT Disaster Recovery Tests. Business Continuity Planning. Exercise coordination and execution combining and synchronizing the efforts of customer and account technical teams as well as the dependent business units. Position requires customer facing presentation and reporting, participation in archtectural and solution based requirements.


Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis) 


  • Develop and implement solid, scalable and flexible Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and Crisis Management solutions to support clients recovery, resiliency, and availability for complex interdep[endent production environments.
  • Partner with our Delivery Teams to help sell and or expand Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity related services by providing effort estimations, and participating in client presentations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and interact with customers to find solutions for projects and operational issues for existing and proposed Recovery and Continuity solutions.
  • Leverage extensive architecture implementation experience to lead the delivery of the recovery, continuity, and resiliency specific operations



Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience developing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions, plans, testing strategies.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience supporting account teams in production and recovery environments to include systems and plan development, maintenance, and testing.


Travel:  This position requires someone who can travel at least 25%. Preferred location is LATAM. 


Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. CBCP from DRI preferred
