We are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer Senior Specialist to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).

Job Title: Mid-Level DevOps Engineer (AWS & CI/CD)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer with strong experience in AWS and CI/CD practices to help design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure. This role requires hands-on expertise in automation, cloud services, and deployment pipelines, along with a solid understanding of software development and operational best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and deployment processes
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release cycles and improve deployment reliability
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and scalability
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Enforce security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and workflows
• Continuously improve DevOps processes, tooling, and automation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.)
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred, CloudFormation acceptable)
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus)
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of networking, security, and system architecture concepts

Nice to Have

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, CloudWatch)
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
