Job Title: Data Architect

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Architect to design, implement, and manage the organization’s data architecture. This role ensures the availability, quality, security, and accessibility of data across systems, enabling analytics, reporting, and operational excellence.

The Data Architect will define data standards, develop scalable architectures, and collaborate closely with engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver efficient and future-ready data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise data architecture and data models
• Define and enforce data standards, governance, and best practices
• Develop scalable architectures to support analytics, reporting, and operational systems
• Architect and oversee data integration and pipeline frameworks
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across platforms
• Optimize data workflows, storage, and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory policies
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to data engineering teams
• Maintain documentation, architecture diagrams, and standards

Required Qualifications

• Strong background in software engineering:
  • SQL, Python
  • ETL/ELT tools and frameworks
  • Working knowledge of Java or C++
• Extensive experience with database platforms:
  • RDBMS: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle
  • NoSQL: MongoDB, Neo4j
• Proven experience designing and managing data architectures and data models
• Hands-on experience with multi-source data pipelines
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data quality practices
• Experience with API development and data services integration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with big data ecosystems (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
• Knowledge of DevOps and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Experience leading or mentoring data engineering teams
