We are currently seeking a Front End Developer to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).

 Senior Frontend Developer 

Experience: * 5-8 years professional software development experience

About the team

This is a hands-on senior engineering role on a small, established team working alongside a Tech Lead.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reusable, accessible React + MUI components, patterns, themes, and utilities.
• Write and maintain TypeScript component APIs following PRIME's existing conventions.
• Implement new components from design specs (Figma).
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, visual regression) for shared components.
• Participate in code review and follow established engineering standards for accessibility, performance, versioning, and documentation.
• * Own larger pieces of work end to end with minimal oversight.
• * Mentor the two mid-level developers and review their work.
• * Contribute to design and architecture discussions (component API design, theming/token approach, testing strategy) alongside the Tech Lead.

Required skillset / tech stack

• * React.js in production: 4+ years.
• TypeScript, has authored typed component props/interfaces, not just consumed existing types.
• MUI (Material UI) production experience. Equivalent CSS-in-JS/theming experience (styled-components, Emotion, Chakra) considered in place of MUI.
• Has worked in a shared codebase with multiple contributing teams, using Git-based workflow and regular code review.
• Automated testing experience with Jest and/or React Testing Library.
• * Prior experience owning a shared component library, design system, or reusable UI package consumed by other teams (npm/package publishing, semantic versioning).
• * Familiarity with design tokens: defining, structuring, and applying them across a themed component library.
• * Comfortable proposing component API and theming decisions, not just implementing a given spec.
• * Mentorship experience: reviewing others' PRs, unblocking less-experienced engineers.

Nice-to-haves

• Accessibility experience (semantic HTML, ARIA, WCAG).
• Storybook, component documentation and/or visual regression testing.
• Angular experience.
• CI/CD, npm package publishing, private registry experience.
• Figma-to-code workflows.
• Prior work on an internal platform or shared library rather than only product/feature teams.

What a strong CV looks like

Prioritize resumes showing design system, component library, or shared UI platform work, with keywords like: React, TypeScript, MUI/Material UI, Storybook, design tokens, npm package ownership, semantic versioning, WCAG/accessibility. * Product/feature-only React experience is a weak signal for this level.
