Global Onboarding & Offboarding Center of Excellence

Human Resources at NTT DATA Services Delivers day-to-day support of Human Resources (HR) policies, programs and processes by providing quality real-time solutions to employee inquiries and requests. Applies working knowledge and understanding of internal HR policies spanning benefits, compensation, employment, employee relations, payroll, training and HRIS to assist employees. Ensures all employee information is entered and maintained within HR system(s) and corrects errors when needed. Ensures questions are addressed correctly and in a timely manner, and where needed, escalates and routes issues to the most appropriate HR individual / department.


The Global Onboarding and Offboarding Center of Excellence is responsible for ensuring NTT DATA Services Onboarding and Offboarding tool tools, programs, and processes are efficient and operational, assisting in automation, process improvements, training development, managing our online global New Employee Orientation in more than 40 countries. The ideal candidate would be someone who adapts easily to change and enjoys project-based work as well as some steady state tasks and can negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders for best practice solutions.


Basic Job Function Description from Career Architecture:

  • Know basic principles, methods, technologies, and practices for their professional field, but usually have limited experience in applying them outside a classroom setting.   
  • Will handle detailed problems which require standard solutions.  
  • They receive general direction from their supervisor, are assigned deliverables and may be part of a team.
  • Responds to inquiries and questions regarding all areas of HR. 
  • Coaches / assists less experienced team members on more complicated / unusual inquiries. 
  • May serve as point person with HR generalists / HRBP on specific subject matter areas. 
  • May take lead in research / resolution of more complex issues.
  • Identifies and recommends process improvement opportunities.

Skills Required:

  • Solid understanding of HR policies (either global, APAC, EMEA, Americas), practices and administrative guidelines
  • Solid client service skills, including ability to handle issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Solid PC and MS Office application skills, particularly in Word and PowerPoint
  • Solid project and time management skills, ability to move projects and tasks forward as assigned, or ongoing for long term assignments/projects
  • Proven high levels of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality
  • Ability to follow standard SOP’s as well as assist with education and enforcement of SOPs as needed within the guidelines of the COE
  • Will be responsible to maintain, develop, and create New Employee Orientation (NEO) content for up to 50+ countries (based on region)
  • Assist in Executive Orientations
  • Comfortable collaborating with multiple departments, contacts, and people – internal and external – to accomplish time sensitive projects in a variety of tools/ways such as email, conference calls, messenger
  • Comfortable learning new tools and systems, and coordinating system administration
  • Comfortable with SharePoint, using internal and external sites
  • Experience with development of eLearnings/SCORM/storyboard a plus
  • Experience presenting on WebEx/Conference calls a plus
  • Experience with SuccessFactors, SAP, a plus
  • Research background a plus
  • Bi/Multi-lingual a plus

Education & Experience:

  • Typically requires 3-5 years relevant experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
