NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Network Security Specialist to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).

 

 


Role Overview

The NTTDATA Specialist will engage in daily maintenance and operations of the leveraged Firewall, Content Filtering and IPS/IDS service infrastructure. The Specialist will work primarily with Network Security products from different vendors like Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper, Palo Alto, Bluecoat, Websense, McAfee etc. The Specialist would help design, confirm, determine and/or troubleshoot traffic flows. Network Security Services include daily maintenance and operations of multiple customers’ network security infrastructure. The successful candidate will be required to troubleshoot firewall/IDS/Proxy traffic flows, as well as maintain accurate documentation of network security products, support activities and processes. The candidate will also be required to work independently and remotely when troubleshooting and must also have the ability to solve problems with minimal client input and ability to escalate when solution is not readily apparent.

 

Role Responsibilities

 
•The Specialist will work on Request Management and Change management to support our leveraged or dedicated customer base.
•Daily Maintenance and operations of leveraged network security infrastructure.
•Implement Network Security solutions in a customer environment.
•Provide operational support of the Network Security environments.
•Detect security issues, create customer tickets and manage problems until closure.
•Ensure that Service Level Agreements and operational standards are met.
•Perform system maintenance, checkups and maintain current documentation.
•Provide resolution plans for device issues.
•Propose service, process and technical improvements to management.
