We are currently seeking a Project Program Management Advisor to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).

Remote Project manager.

 

The Project Program Management Advisor manages projects as a member of NTT DATA’s Network and Telephony PMO.  These projects provide NTT DATA clients with network and telephony solutions in support of NTT DATA’s delivery of its core digital services.   As a member of the Network and Telephony PMO, the Project Program Management Advisor leads cross-functional teams of technical and business specialists.  Typical PMO projects include new client Transitions, network and telephony infrastructure buildouts, and development of telephony solutions, including Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and integration with third party tools.

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Manage projects
  • Define and document project requirements for complex projects based on business requirements
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, both for standalone projects and as members or leaders of larger Programs or Transitions
  • Develop and execute complex project plans, project schedules, and other project documentation and artifacts
  • Assign and track tasks and activities for members of the project team
  • Manage project Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID), including escalating issues and risks as necessary
  • Manage Action Item logs
  • Manage procurement, internal communication, cost management, quality management and other activities to support the management of assigned projects
  • Provide governance reporting and timesheet approvals as necessary

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 3+ years of relevant IT experience or combination of work experience and education
  • Excellent English Language skills
  • Experience with MS Project and expertise with MS Office suite (Excel macros and pivot tables)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong teamwork skills across client, supplier and geographically dispersed virtual teams
  • Understanding of Service Desk, Field Services and/or Desktop Engineering practices, policies and procedures
  • Understanding of project management practices
  • Knowledge of Remedy and ServiceNow is preferred
  • Service Management experience is a plus
  • Project Management certification or training preferred
