We are currently seeking a Software Development Advisor to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).
Tibco Support - Analyst
Job Description
As a Tibco Support Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- L2 and L3 production support including corrective, preventive, adaptive and perfective maintenance.
- Taking the ownership of reported issues and making sure that they reach the desired resolution - including troubleshooting, internal communication, and providing feedback on a regular basis.
- Making sure the inter and intra team coordination for effective resolution of the incidents.
- Supporting and maintaining the Tibco runtime platform.
- Leading the activities such as production monitoring, break fix resolution including bridge calls, problem solving, gap analysis and configuration correction.
- Meetings with vendor support for any version updates and implementing it in all the environments.
- Documenting the support processes for existing and new applications, SOPs for P1/P2/P3 incidents, monitoring jobs, emails, alerts and creating reports based on activities.
- Identifying automation opportunities, reducing manual activities, documenting support activities, and partnering with development team on project and enhancement work.
- Notifying, escalating on support failures, managing incident and problem tickets.
- Supporting production implementations and post-change validations.
- Supporting existing production applications including monitoring and break fix resolution.
- Transitioning the project deliverables to the production support team including modification of the existing applications to resolve production issues or enhance the existing capabilities or a new application.
- Ensuring quality, maintainability, reusability of automation and core components.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of hands-on support experience working in integration domain Tibco suite of products including: Tibco BW, Tibco Administrator, Tibco EMS, Tibco Business Connect
- 3+ years of experience performing operations support for mission critical, high-performance Tibco integrations, most preferably on Tibco 5.x.
- 3+ years of experience in B2B integrations managing the Partner Onboarding including establishing connections over various protocols i.e EDI X12, EDIFACT, EZComm.
- Strong technical knowledge and a very good understanding of the various integration patterns.
- Hands-on knowledge of different data formats like (XML, JSON, Flat files, etc.).
- Experience working with Technology Information Security and Risk teams to implement solutions that adhere to security policies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to understand and clarify complex issues and solutions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Willing to work on rotation-based shift / weekend shift/on-call support.
- Adhere & Maintain Response and Resolution within SLA.
Good To Have
- MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and experience performing operations support for mission critical, high performance.
- Experience with KAFKA.
