We are currently seeking a Software Development Senior Specialist to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer specialized in PHP and Identity & Access Management (IAM) to support the modernization and migration of enterprise applications from traditional LDAP-based authentication to a modern Single Sign-On (SSO) architecture.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PHP application development, authentication protocols, secure access management, and enterprise integration patterns. This role will work closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, architecture, and business stakeholders to ensure a seamless authentication migration while maintaining application stability, security compliance, and user experience.

This position requires hands-on experience implementing and integrating authentication technologies such as SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity, Auth0, or similar enterprise identity providers.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Modernization

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain full stack web applications using PHP and modern frontend technologies.
• Refactor existing authentication modules and legacy LDAP integrations.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms aligned with enterprise security standards.
• Develop reusable APIs and middleware services for authentication orchestration.

LDAP to SSO Migration

• Analyze existing LDAP authentication flows and user access dependencies.
• Lead migration activities from LDAP authentication to enterprise SSO platforms.
• Integrate applications with Identity Providers (IdPs) using:
  • SAML 2.0
  • OAuth 2.0
  • OpenID Connect (OIDC)
• Support user federation, role mapping, token validation, and session management.
• Troubleshoot authentication issues during migration and cutover phases.
• Ensure backward compatibility and minimal business disruption during transition.

Security & Compliance

• Apply secure coding standards and cybersecurity best practices.
• Ensure authentication flows comply with enterprise IAM governance and audit requirements.
• Participate in vulnerability remediation and penetration testing support.
• Manage encryption, token security, session expiration, and secure credential handling.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with Enterprise Architects, Security Teams, DevOps Engineers, and Infrastructure teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
• Provide technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and migration runbooks.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical best practices.

Required Technical Skills

Backend Development

• Strong expertise in:
  • PHP 7/8+
  • Laravel, Symfony, or similar PHP frameworks
• REST API development and integration
• Microservices and backend integration patterns

Frontend Development

• JavaScript / TypeScript
• HTML5 / CSS3
• Modern frontend frameworks preferred:
  • Angular

  • Vue.js

Authentication & Identity Management

• Strong experience with:
  • LDAP / Active Directory
  • Single Sign-On (SSO)
  • Identity Federation
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
• Experience implementing:
  • SAML 2.0
  • OAuth 2.0
  • OpenID Connect (OIDC)
• Experience with enterprise IdPs such as:
  • Okta
  • Azure AD / Entra ID
  • Ping Identity
  • Auth0
  • ADFS

Databases

• MySQL
• PostgreSQL
• SQL optimization and performance tuning

DevOps & Cloud

• Git / GitHub / GitLab
• CI/CD pipelines
• Docker preferred
• Basic cloud knowledge:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack software development.
• 3+ years of experience implementing authentication and SSO solutions.
• Proven experience migrating applications from LDAP to SSO architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities in authentication workflows.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust security models.
• Familiarity with IAM governance and access lifecycle management.
• Experience supporting highly available enterprise applications.
• Security certifications or IAM-related certifications are a plus.
