We are currently seeking a Software Quality Assurance Advisor to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Selenium Automation Tester with over 5 years of experience in automation testing and a strong knowledge of SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of our software applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Analyze test results and track software testing metrics.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
• Identify, analyze, and report bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in software functionality.
• Work closely with the development team to understand changes in the software product and how they affect test scripts and the testing environment.
• Integrate Selenium test cases with test management tools for test planning and defect tracking.
• Perform database testing using SQL to validate data integrity and accuracy.
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, and potential problems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in software quality assurance and automation testing.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Selenium Automation Tester or similar role.
• Proficiency in Java programming.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database testing.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
