NTT DATA, Inc. currently seeks System Integration Senior Specialist to join our team in India.

System Integration Senior Specialist will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our client applications. This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Position General Duties and Tasks

1. Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage Mysql databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
• Database performance tuning.
• Planning, deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting of high-availability database environments.
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes, for efficiency and cost optimization.
• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
• Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.
• Work directly with end customer, business stakeholders as well as technical resources.

2. Skills & Qualifications

MySQL DBA skills :

• 8+ years of experience on SQL Server 2008/2012/Above versions in database administration, in an enterprise environment with multiple database servers is required.

• Experience in MySQL Administration.
• Experience in AWS RDS service.
• Experience in AWS MySQL Aurora database.
• Installing, configuring MySQL server and client software.
• Understanding of MySQL and underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and MyISAM.
• Experience in MySQL and 5.x and 8.x Schemas database versions, Experience in MySQL Enterprise Monitoring.
• Experience in Upgrade and Migration of MySQL databases
• Performance Tuning of MySQL databases and patching.
• Planning, scheduling, and taking MySQL backups and recovery.
• Experience in MySQL Enterprise Backup.
• Experience in MySQL Enterprise Monitor.
• Experience in high availability configurations, Replication, disaster recovery planning.
• Experience in MySQL Query Analyzer.
• Experience on MySQL Workbench.
• Experience on MySQL BCP/DR.

3. Nice to Have:

• Experience with scripting.
• Experience in Posgresql (RDS)
• Experience supporting Logical DBA activities.
• Experience complex query tuning and schema refinement.
• Power shell knowledge/Experience

4. Preferred Education:

• Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent.
