We are currently seeking a Engagement Manager - Telecommunications to join our team in Gurgaon, Haryāna (IN-HR), India (IN).

Engagement Manager – Telecommunications

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engagement Manager with a strong background in the telecommunications industry to lead client engagements, manage strategic accounts, and ensure successful delivery of telecom programs and services. The ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, driving customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end client engagements within telecom projects and service delivery programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with telecom operators, enterprise customers, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead project governance, delivery tracking, risk management, and escalation handling.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including network, IT, operations, and vendor management.
  • Ensure successful implementation of telecom solutions, digital transformation initiatives, and managed services.
  • Monitor project scope, timelines, budgets, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, upselling, and long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Support proposal development, client presentations, and business development activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare status reports, executive dashboards, and engagement reviews for senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Telecommunications, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in engagement management, account management, program management, or consulting within the telecom industry.
  • Strong understanding of telecom technologies, network operations, OSS/BSS, managed services, or digital transformation programs.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise or telecom operator clients.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and global delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, Prince2, ITIL, or Agile/Scrum certification.
  • Experience with 5G, fiber, cloud telecom solutions, or network transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with CRM and project management tools such as Salesforce, Jira, MS Project, or ServiceNow.
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
