Functional Role (Job Description)

This role reports to the Head of FP&A and is expected to be the single point of contact to the UK Group leadership team for corporate functions majorly on G&A review, governance and consolidation.

  • 10-12 Years (Demonstrable experience of financial accounting and analysis in a Global Matrix environment, preferably IT or services industry experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • To be the single point of contact to the UK Group leadership team for corporate functions in:
    • understanding and owning their financial performance each month
    • providing relevant commentary for various reviews and presentations
    • guiding and supporting with their forecasts and budgets (costs, intercompany, headcount, capex, etc)
    • analysing and reporting on trends and movements.
  • Ensure that the purchase order process is diligently followed and that the integrity of reporting is maintained including aging of GRNI, forecast accuracy and timeliness of renewals
  • Own the relevant balance sheet reconciliations pertinent to the UK Group functions and ensure actions are followed up timely.
  • To oversee Intercompany recharges to and from the UK Group functions, resolve queries and provide meaningful analysis as required
  • To be the audit point of contact for all transactions associated with UK Group cost centres and projects
  • To support the FP&A Manager co-ordinating and managing the budget and forecasting processes for the UK entity.
  • Provide cover as required across the FP&A team gaining experience and knowledge of key workflows.
  • Engage with stakeholders and provide financial expertise in completing business cases and sensitivities.
  • Support in resolving ad hoc queries that materialise and helping colleagues where needed.

 

 

Essential Knowledge and Analytical Skills

SAP/Advances Excel Skills/Outlook/Power BI knowledge desirable

 

Strong finance system skills: advanced Excel skills and a good knowledge of using SAP (ideally SAP S/4 Hana) is a key requirement for this role. Strong PowerBI and control

 

 

Excellent communication (Written and verbal) & relationship building skills.  Strong English skills (written and oral).

Able to work in UK hours including managing bank holidays locally to meet the needs of key deadline dates in the UK.
