Functional Role (Job Description)

General & Operational Accounting Analyst to join our Global Business Support Services Team. The role will focus on the Record-to-Report (R2R) cycle within the general ledger process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and reporting, combined with solid analytical skills.

Education Background

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce or relevant field.

Professional Accounting Qualification M.Com, MBA (Finance or equivalent)

Work Experience

Typically requires 4+ years relevant experience

Global experience of working with teams across Geographies will be given preference

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining the general ledger.
• Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
• Manage bank reconciliations (BRS), fixed assets accounting, accruals, and related activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate inter-company and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, controls, and SLAs.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Coordinate and cooperate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Provide team support, including management and resolution of team issues.
• Perform ad-hoc accounting and reporting activities as required.

• Proven ability in financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving.

Essential Knowledge and Analytical Skills

Knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in financial analysis and balance sheet reconciliation.

Knowledge of SAP– Added advantage.
