Required Skills and ExperienceExtensive Experience: Typically requires 6+ years of overall software development experience in SAP Commerce/Cloud (Hybris) projects.Core Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Java, the Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security), and the SAP Commerce Cloud architecture is essential.Platform Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with key SAP Commerce features, including Backoffice, WCMS/SmartEdit, FlexibleSearch, ImpEx, OCC APIs, and Solr search configuration.Headless Commerce Knowledge: Familiarity with headless commerce architecture and front-end integration using technologies like SAP Spartacus and Angular is increasingly important.Cloud & Tools: Experience with cloud deployment platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Kibana), version control (Git), and agile methodologies.Strong hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) versions 2011 through 2211+ (Backoffice, SmartEdit, PCM, WCMS).Solid understanding of Headless Architecture using Spartacus (SAP Composable Storefront) and OCC (Omni Commerce Connect) APIs.Deep proficiency in Java (J2EE) and the Spring Framework (Spring Core, MVC, Security, Integration).Experience in building and managing RESTful APIs and customizing Solr Search indexing and queries.Knowledge of Event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing (Task Queues, Spring Events).Strong understanding of SAP CCv2 Cloud infrastructure (Azure-based), Dynatrace monitoring, and Kibana logging.Experience with OAuth2, SSO (SAML/OIDC), and Spring Security best practices.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines specifically for the SAP Commerce Cloud Portal.Strong understanding of FlexibleSearch, HANA/SQL database design, and data modeling.Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues (memory leaks, thread dumps) and optimize backend services
